LETTER

Dear brethren,

With gratitude to God and for your involvement in my life as friends, supporter or prayer partner, I come to you with great excitement announcing my 50th year, a thing which most people change often-time being seen as old.

Kindly join me and my family to praise God for all His goodness in my life. I became a Christian at age 19 and began ministry work as a student preacher at age 22. And for the past 24 years I have been involved in real active and full-time ministry with various congregations and foreign mission work and visits to Cameroon Republic and the USA.

God used me extensively in many and wide programs to cause some little effect of my contribution to the growth of the Church in Nigeria and beyond. I have learned several things in my ministry work ranging from challenges, hardships, wants to the extent of loosing my first son to deadly seizures which kept him impaired for 19 years; but, IN ALL THIS GOD WAS FAITHFUL accompanied with your encouragements, support, and prayers.

I see myself very fortunate to see this day and knowing of the fruits of my labor hold on and yielding. The many programs that I have been involved in helped to expand the Lord's Kingdom here and in other places. World Bible School, World English Institute, Newlife Behavior International Ministry, and preacher training through use of sound and in depth curriculum of SIBI, Lubbock Texas greatly impacted my influence and exposes me to many various approaches to missions that if given more added years the work shall see great growth. I am happy that the preaching training is helping not only in Nigeria but in the Cameroon as well. While the home state enjoys massive extension centers in Lagos, Warri, Afikpo, and Ogoja with calls for more to Mbaise and Benin recently, I am certain and sure that Nigerian congregations and pulpits shall be placed at par with some in the developed countries like the US though not basing on human comparison.

I wish to specially use this epoch date (my birthday) to thank each and everyone of you who have or is (are) making plans to help the building project of the DMBI for your well thoughtful gestures. Your donations are investments in exchange for eternal rewards by our God Himself. So, please do not feel being pressured if request for more funds is received toward the completion of the building. Its completion shall give the school some edge in Nigeria as we hope to graduate preachers who shall be self supporting as they teach and preach the gospel among their own people and culture. Birthday gifts of cards or money should be sent in my honor towards the building project in whole.

Thank you and keep me, my family, DMBI Board, Staff & Students, Township church that I minister with, and Nigeria in your well coveted prayers.

With great joy in the Lord for knowing you shall do even more than my request here because you all love the Lord and the things which cause for growth of the church and my ministry to His glory.

God bless and keep you as I look forward to hearing from you all.

In Him we live,

Prince Canice Ugbe
